Biography

Chloe Foston is a graduate of the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. She has performed her Karen Carpenter tribute show on no less than three continents. Her world class shows have received standing ovations in cities across the United Kingdom, United States, Ireland, Cyprus, and the Philippine islands.   Ms. Foston’s voice is a rare gift as she has a three-octave vocal range and, like Karen Carpenter, is a true contralto.  Her voice allows her to sing the warm rich lower notes while effortlessly reaching her upper register.  Being a true contralto, she can sing the entire Carpenter’s repertoire, in their original keys, without exception. In addition to her natural gift, she has spent countless hours studying and practicing Karen Carpenter’s annunciation of each word of each song. Arguably, Ms. Foston is the best Karen Carpenter voice in the world. While Ms. Foston was born and raised in Scotland, she has perfected a flawless  U.S. “west coast” accent. Which she sometimes uses this accent in her show.

Not only does Ms. Foston sing the complete Carpenter's catalog, recently she has had the top four songs on the United Kingdom’s streaming service, Boom Radio.
